Khamseh Bag Face

Flat-woven items from the Khamseh Confederation are relatively rare in the marketplace. The extra weft-wrapping of this soumak spindle bag face is loosely woven, similar to Luri weaving. Wool, cotton, and goat hair are used throughout. The two tassels in the middle of the field are decorative only.
