This narrow bag perhaps stored drop spindles. Woven in one rectangular piece in soumak weave; it was then folded in half, stitched down one side and across the bottom to form a strong bag. It probably had a strap to hang it inside the tent. This utilitarian bag has a very tribal quality due to its simple construction, design, and tassels.
